Mesmerised

After a icy cold walk down by the river this morning with the dogs, we headed into Newcastle to the Discovery Museum. Toby was absolutely mesmerised by a display aimed at demonstrating gravity. I just love the expression on his face. He is always ever so interested in how things work, so this was the perfect place for him and he and Sam had a great time running round. And it was warm inside!

Looking at the news I am beginning to realise how lucky we were to escape the lake district when we did. Otherwise I think we would still be there. Doesnt really bear thinking about being stranded there with little ones. Thank God Paul and Fi were about this weekend!!
