Shootin the Curl

We had so much wood left over from yesterday's fence project that we decided to make a skateboard ramp. Merrick grabbed the board given to him by his Uncle Jeff, and showed me a few tricks. 

I told him to put on some protective gear, but he just laughed.

After Merrick tired, I grabbed the board (and the safety gear) and pulled off an ollie, a goofy-footed nose-slide, and a tailslide Smith grind...among other tricks.

Disclaimer: Please don't put the photo into large, because you might be able to see the 99 cent price tags, and be able to see that it isn't wood...but plastic. He bought them at a second-hand store. (I can't believe that I did this fibbing on the Lord's Day.)
