SQUIRREL NUTKIN

This was a brilliant surprise while we were walking along the lanes near Dufton. Sister A1 was the top spotter today and saw this little one running up and down hazel and oak trees gathering nuts. It was quite far away, and constantly moving so this is the best I could manage, but I was still thrilled. I can't remember whether I've seen one before - if I have it was probably when I was a child.
