Ghost signs...

I took my first photos of ghost signs about 40 years - the Sootie Hotel, Edinburgh -  long before they became the popular internet theme of the moment.  I love to find them on holidays and  I started to seek them out today although sadly I haven't found enough to make a photo book.  I thought these three were particularly attractive.  They are genuinely old rather than some you see that have been newly painted and distressed to look old.  A very clever skill and one I wish I had time to perfect but I have enough to do already.  The Dubonnet in the Blip pic is one in Auch about an hour from Toulouse and the other two are in Chiltern in Victoria, Oz.
