Flowers by the fountain

Our friends left in the morning. we have more friends coming for a meal tonight then the social scene should quieten down at least till next weekend. There was the beginning of an autumn chill first thing but by lunch time it was warm and sunny and I went for a walk around the village. There was no heat haze and it was good to feel the air fresher than it has been of late
