Some days you need CAKE!

Another freezing cold day in London, with a sprinkling of snow. After being in for a while this morning, we were all going a bit stir crazy. So we rugged up and headed for the great outdoors.

We walked over part of Wimbledon Common and then to Cannizaro Park. There were only a couple of other fool hardy people braving the cold, and to be honest it was rather nice as we unusually had the place to ourselves. Our little girl hated the cold, and was miserable all the way round (until we bribed her, with the blip picture!) however our son immersed himself into a world of castles, knights and soldiers and ran around the park, diving in and out of secret castles, protecting himself from the baddies and employing his super powers whenever he could! The park looked really pretty, and I loved the silence (it could have been almost rural!!)

Post walk, we thawed out in a cafe - and treated ourselves to cake which produced the best blip of the day!
