My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Ellie cracks me up. Here are some of her WhatsApp messages to me, post-Hamilton. 

She was VERY chatty. This isn't even the half of it. 

Other big news for the day. I saw a falcon! Right here in my garden! I could hear the birds freaking out and thought a cat had caught one of them. 

But when I got up, a small bird of prey was sitting out there, calm as you please, picking at something small, squishy and brown that it was sitting on.

Sorry, Mr. Sparrow. Nature is cruel. 

I ran upstairs to tell Caro, who was still in bed, but the falcon must have flown off with its prey. There was nothing to be seen. I sort of hope the falcon comes back, but also not. I like our sparrows.
