My week off has ended and we're back into the normal weekend period. Today's back blip is from the Hippodrome and on the bank, when I managed to get a half decent shot of the dog before he ran off to chase something in the shrubs.... For the curious, he doesn't have a spot light attached to his tail, even though he appears to in the picture.

Round here the grass has suddenly gone brown, everything had been green, but we had almost no rain in August and though we've had a bit recently the grass has mostly stayed brown. The horse track, the ruby pitch and the amenity space are very green but they are watered regularly, or part of the flood defence and absorb river water.
