Pileated Woodpecker

I went to my favorite stomping grounds on Sunday, September 12th (posted this September 19th) and was greeted by six Pileated woodpeckers flying between two clusters of trees (same area as my raccoon photo on September 4th) just before sunrise.  Most of my pictures came out too dark/grainy but this little guy was kind enough to stop in the right spot just as the sun came over the horizon.  As soon as the sun came out, they all disappeared into the woods.
