The next phase
Thousands of packed up cars with parents and students descended on Newcastle yesterday, moving in for the start of their degrees. Chaos trying to find a space to unload amongst many new high rise student flats bang in the city centre, but very well organised once at our sons block.

The flatmates we briefly met seemed very friendly, and really get's on well with a guy from Northern Ireland, who he's been chatting to online and has already put a 4 bottle optic in the kitchen (above microwave). Got to get your basics sorted!

Extra shows the shared kitchen/lounge for the 6 of them, with Mrs M and son + a flatmate from Huddersfield. It has a big fridge and  closer views of the stadium. He seems to have chosen well and been lucky so far.
