Tea in the goat shed

The two photos I was choosing between was the classic, backlit dewdrops on a spiders web or tea in the goat shed (taken by Vik).  I went for the latter to remind myself that today was beautiful weather rather than very autumnal as it felt first thing.  

Went into Petersfield, tidied up my nails, then came home and made a blackberry and apple cake (ty Nigel Slater Tender). Mum came over for tea and we showed her photos of baby.  Long call with R who is still in Prague filming.  Dinner and telly.  Very domestic day.
