the silly pictures I took today

Today I took a picture of
- a sparrow flying away with a Cheeto
- a katydid staring through the window at me
- a dog wearing a necktie
- a dog hiding behind a tree, but peeking his head out to look at Sam and me

Someone suggested I visit Ellicott City. It is a small, old, artsy town. I haven't visited it since a girlfriend took me decades, at least two floods, and a pandemic ago. They keep having 1,000 year storms. 

I went expecting it to be recovering from the floods and the pandemic. They were having a music festival. 
So many people.
So close together.
No masks.

I went home and dug up plants. Now I know what I want in my new garden:  every single mosquito repelling plant in existence.
