Just in case - front door flowers

I always take an early pic just in case the day doesn’t go as expected. Today was such a day.
I had volunteered at the health centre to do some sign posting for the flu jab clinic, just ticking people off a list and send them to the right nurse.
To start with I was going to be doing all day, they had two morning clinics side by side, two afternoon ones and then one all day.
But on Thursday she emailed to say they had plenty of help for the morning, could I do the afternoon.
Duly arrived just before noon (we both had our jabs booked too) intending to stay after and then walk home.
But once booked in was told that no help needed as there had been very little take up of jab appointments and they were so quiet it only needed one person there.
So we both had our jabs and then came home.
The afternoon got put to good use, I spend a couple of hours in the garden.
I’m booked again to help one Saturday in October. Maybe more people will show up then….
