Swan on Loch Leven

Drove back up to Inverness today with a view to accompanying M on her Munro completion tomorrow. Stopped off at the RSPB reserve at Loch Leven on the way and watched some swans, little grebes and moorhens for an hour or two. I've seen it suggested that swans hold one foot out of the water as a way of regulating their body temperature. The extra is a juvenile little grebe.
