A day of surprises

Surprise 1 Watching our 6 year old play so well in his first football match this morning.
Surprise 2. Taking the Cheltenham Flyer from the racecourse to Broadway and back with our two Gloucestershire grandchildren for a special picnic.
Surprise 3 Spotting “zebras” in the Gloucestershire fields.
Surprise 4 Going to our daughter’s house this evening to be welcomed at the door by our youngest son who had cycled from Hackney to be with us all for a very special family meal.
Surprise 5 Discovering I was suddenly a year older!
