Myrtle

This very green soft hedge was outside the taverna in Aghios Dimitrios where we had lunch today after another swim. My plant app says it's myrtle, and indeed it has really aromatic leaves.

The small taverna has recently re opened after months of being closed due to family problems ( not Covid as far as I know ). It's a lovely quiet place and serves huge portions of delicious very simple food at extremely reasonable prices.
And there were several beautiful kittens to entertain us too!
