A day out by train to Thun, where the river Aare flows out of Lake Thun on its’ journey to Bern. Picture postcard scenery with snow-capped peaks as a backdrop to the lake, a fairy-tale castle overlooking the town and a flower bedecked covered bridge all add to the sense of being in a fantasy world.
