Gluten-Free Goodness

Round two of birthday celebrations saw a delicious gluten-free chocolate cake grace our little kitchen table. I spent an hour searching for ready-made cake icing to top it off to no avail, so you are witnessing here my first-ever attempt at making icing from scratch. It was a bit runny on account of starting out with too much water, but, after flooding off the cake and onto the countertop in big heaping pools, it eventually hardened into a thin green layer of sweet, sweet sugar.
