Squirrel attacks decoy duck

I was very lucky to capture this shot of a squirrel attacking a decoy duck on a shed roof in the allotments near St Mark's Park this morning. The noise of the squirrel caught our attention. It squeaked and growled at its inanimate prey.

Most of my work today focused on a bid which, if successful, will fund some academic research related to the war diaries of Lorna Lloyd (and my once secret recreational project). 

Paddy came over this evening to have supper with his granny (Mummy hazelh), his uncle (Mr hazelh), and aunt (me). After the meal we played one game each of Azul and Catan. I won both :-)

Exercise today: walking (12,048 steps).
