Palm Sunday

.....and not a palm leaf in site - but an Easter tree!

My wife created this today - Palm Sunday - the start of Holy Week were I (and many others) remember Jesus entering in triumph to Jerusalem - the subsequent events during the week - ending with His death on "Good Friday" and then His glorious resurrection on Easter Sunday.

We make a "tree" every year and the symbols used to create it are ones that - for myself anyway - help me to consider what Jesus has done for me.

- The branches of the tree: branches that were made into a cross which Christ was crucified on

- and branches that we have for our tree, that on the ends, have very small buds on them that will one day burst forth with new life - a simple reminder to myself of the new life - or a new start in life - that we can have thru all that Jesus has done for us - His death and resurrection!
