Friday lunchtime….

We took a different route into Shere at lunchtime. A lovely walk through beautiful Surrey countryside. No sunshine but no wind either, just very still.

I’ve eaten in this pub. We didn’t today but plenty did. It was certainly quite busy in the garden as we passed.

Valerie wasn’t feeling good today. In more pain than she was in hospital. I’ve been waiting this evening to hear more news.

I keep thinking it’s Saturday. Certainly a very different Friday. All because we’re away and jobs are not calling to be done. We’ve done lots of reading and lazing, which doesn’t always come easily.
