MY ......

...... MUM.
It would have been my Mum's birthday today. She was born on September 17th 1900. Which would have made her 121 years old! Gosh, how do you think about all those years past? Tho' she lived in Shropshire , she was very ill and I had her staying with me. I always remember my mum having chest problems and she definitely had bronchitis when we picked her up to bring her to us for a few days. This progressed to Pneumonia altho' I tried to nurse her at home it was a hospital admission that just had to be . She needed care alas I couldn't give in the end. After 10 days in hospital she finally passed away peacefully in her sleep.
My blip shows my mum enjoying a couple of holidays.

As a family ( my husband & the two girls & me) we spent quite a few happy holidays there.
So , for me, today is all about MY Mum. It doesn't matter how old you are we all need our mums at some point .
It has been another pleasant day dry , warm but little sun showing, just giving its warmth out. Do hope you've all enjoyed it.

Thoughtful .... about my MUM & how if it hadn't have been for her right choice of surgeon I may not have been here to tell the tail. THANK YOU MUM for everything.
