River Medway

After three high profile events in the last three days (council meeting, first folk club session and leading a walk yesterday) on top of the usual stuff it was good to get to today and relax a little.

We took the car to the other side of town to collect a parcel from Waitrose, using the opportunity to walk into town from there for various errands, a coffee and a lunch before walking back to the car along the Medway Vally Path.

While Susan cleaned, I prepared some apples for the dehydrator and made some coleslaw from our carrots, onions and cabbage. Nice to have some time to do this sort of thing.
