4:15am start. Bus to Dublin. Normally this would be an uninteresting shot, but it’s been so long since I was at an airport.
Flight to Girona, a palpable sense of excitement on the plane. Bus to Cadaques and arrival 12 hours after leaving home.
As lovely as I remember it to be.
There is a group of 13 of us here, 11 swimmers, 2 supporters. 1 who couldn’t travel for Covid reasons.
