Flowers at Hillwell

A really windy day, and gales picking up tonight.  Mostly overcast, rain due tonight.

Another day working in the airport.  I was in the check-in desk this morning, and we had a visit from the new drug detection puppies, super cute spaniels.  The rest of the day was working in the heli end.  Managed to get our for a good walk with Sammy after tea, before the rain.  

After a misty summer, the flowers haven't been their best this year, yet September has been fairly mild, until now, and the flowers have fairly come on and still looking great.  Unfortunately the gales have finally arrived, just hoping the flowers can survive.  A cheery sight at the side of the road, Hillwell, Dunrossness.
