Four dogs and their adventures

Today at work I was lucky enough to see a hare. Always very special, they are such endearing animals and such speed when they take to running across the fields.

This week I have been walking and feeding and looking out for my brother’s two spaniels. My brother and his wife are back from their holiday this evening. So I took my collies and the two spaniels for their walk together again this evening. All was going well until Holly the spaniel went missing. She is partially deaf although can usually pick up on the whistle. Anyway, it ended up with me and a couple of other people searching around and whistling for about an hour. I was getting very worried by this time. I went to check back in the farm yard for the second time to see if she had made her way home. Phew …. Relief …. there she was looking very dirty and bedraggled but home safe. Not the sort of adventure that I wanted to have!
