Soup Production
It's a bumper year for tomatoes in the allotment so this morning was given over to soup production. The first batch was a blend of 50/50 Sungold and Gardener's Delight, whereas the second batch was mainly the latter. I do like the sungolds because they add a sweetness to the finished soup. The potatoes and onions were also from the allotment, now we just need to successfully grow the garlic!
After lunch I began work on our Club newsletter and then Euan called for a Skype with much singing of Wheels on the Bus (there were some pretty strange things travelling on the bus today: crocodiles, giraffes, tissues and poop!) He was home from Daycare today as he has been under the weather, as has his Mummy, so there has been much sleeping. He is settling in to his new 'school' and told us the names of some of his teachers, so he's getting there.
