With uncle John

We went to see Mrs Soup's uncle today. It was his birthday yesterday and we managed to blag some cake and a cuppa. A keen do-it-yourselfer, he had recently up-cycled some old components to create a record player - a much more satisfying option than buying one (as I did a little while ago).

We had a bit of a chat, in the warm, before we had to brave the sub-zero temperatures to come home.
