Double vision

I've just been reading an article in Outdoor Photography about taking photos during twilight. So I decided to pop out and have a go. I have to say, 30 second exposures when it's virtually pitch black and the wind is whistling at minus 4 or 5 requires dedication. Half way through a shot of the trees in my garden, I decided that the house would be more interesting. So I turned the camera round half way through the exposure, thinking that the shot would be ruined but I didn't want to wait for it to finish. When I loaded the photos onto my computer, I discovered that I had this sort of double vision in an eerie blue, which is quite intriguing - the view in both directions at once!
