Banana Flowers 2

Detoured through the park this morning to city farm (extra) where the bananas are still flowering. Plenty of other offerings, too - poppies, irises, foxgloves and cornflowers - but couldn’t resist. A diagram of banana parts suggests these are male flowers, with petals above and bud below.

The margarita glasses are chilling.
