Lovely and Cool today...

And I got to see my almost 4 year old grandson for the first time in about 3 weeks. I swear he's grown leaps and bounds! His sister and mother were at school and dad working at home so I picked up him and we played. He'd had a bad cold last week, along with his sister (not Covid) so they'd been home all last week. He was still a little low in energy, but very enjoyable.

It was COLD this morning - 45F/7.2C! But it warmed up pleasantly this afternoon. My wander in the garden netted some not great photos, despite the tripod. This is is the best. But I do love Crimson River Lily or Schizostylis coccinea - just coming into bloom now. A clump forming member of the Iris family that grows from rhizomes. I really should replant it in a better place - it's currently tucked in the back of the border in too much shade. Isn't it fun?
