On My Plate

On my plate this evening was a lovely birthday cake courtesy of D and Mr Waitrose.
My 53rd birthday was spent at work. It was the children’s first full day but they coped well. After school we had a staff meeting so I didn’t get home til 6 o’clock. Once Alfie arrived home we opened my cards and presents. D cooked steak for dinner.
I’ve been very lucky and got lots of lovely things and loads of messages.
