Peacock Butterfly

Now I've managed to reset my camera and bring it back to life I've been enjoying taking close up shots of the butterflies in the garden.I only saw one peacock butterfly but there were lots of small tortoiseshells on the buddleia. There is one in the extra.

I've learned that the caterpillars of both feed on nettles, but I don't plan on my own nettle patch with the small boys around. I have planted quite a few buddleia.

There is a different link for moths, but I would have to spend some time learning how to identify them first!
