Castle Carrick - Up for sale, any takers

This castle sits in the shores of Loch Goil. It looks as though at some stage it has been modernised as you can see from the roof and louvre windows. However, the rusting scaffolding around it suggests there are structural issues. We visited this afternoon after a very disappointing lunch in Lochgilphead where the interesting and tasty menu was reduced to a basic pub grub when we enquired at the bar because of staffing problems
