long time no see

I love the distinctive look and sound of Cedar Waxwings. The first time I heard a tree full of waxwings, I couldn't believe the sound came from birds. I was sure the peeping was from a nest of baby mice! And then when I saw the Lone Ranger masks and tips of "wax" on their wings, I knew I would never forget them.
I have not seen them in the neighborhood for the last few years, so was very pleased to do so this morning.
