Convergence

I felt I had no option but to blip another tree-and-vine photo today. It's so unusual to have days of wall-to-wall cloud. The effect is of a giant softbox, removing all shadows and draining the landscape of colour. It did brighten up a little today, but the sun never broke through.

This hasn't turned out quite the way I wanted it, and I spent a lot of time trying out different crops to improve it. It was the best of the bunch today though. A quiet day at home; did some laundry, made some white chocolate and cranberry cookies which weren't pretty enough to blip, unlike chaiselongue's pretty middle-eastern pastries. Go and look at her blip -- unlike mine, it has a warm, cheerful glow!

PS a year ago today was our blipmeet in Toulouse! Must do it again soon ...
