hockey super sunday

Today is Sunday, so it's time for more hockey. Well, I had to bring the keepers bag back after our game yesterday so we (K., S. and later R.) went to see the Ladies first team play. The game finished 1-1, but it was more notable for the extreme cold in Hollandshire this weekend. Pure brutal. Three degrees Celsius on the clock, but with the windchill factor added in it soon dropped to minus five.

My beloved MC2 lost 1-0 yesterday but they played a blinder of a game and were undone by a bad goal early in the second half that we couldn't equalise despite the chances we had. Nevermind. I continue to be extremely proud of the girls and I'll miss the fun we have when the team splits up after June.

Today we were due to go to Vlissingen to see my folks, but there was snow down there so we stayed at home instead. We had Dominos pizza as a wee treat and the kids are going to watch a film this evening.

A nice way to end the weekend.
