Toddler group 1st thing with an Easter theme. Craft activity was decorated egg cards. And all the kids had to do a mini egg hunt to find silver card eggs that had been hidden around the hall. In return they all got a little chocolate egg.

It's started snowing again here and is bitterly cold but we had to venture out in it as Caleb had a doctors appointment in the afternoon. So we went, parked up, Caleb in the pushchair Erin on the buggy board. What I didn't know was Erin had her hands in her pockets. I went round a bend anf in slow motion she fell off the board and slammed to the ground face first, hands still in her pockets! I felt sick. Picked her up, poor thing was screaming. Her mouth was bleeding but just a bit and she had a graze on her chin so I though she had been very lucky and not got too hurt. We got to the doctors which was no more than a 2 minute walk and I took a look her chin was now double the size. So while Caleb had his check up I got the nurse to look at Erin. She told me it will bruise badly and swell more but is fine. My poor baby.
She fell asleep in the car on the way back so I was able to put a cold flannel on her chin and the bruise had already started. :(
