Gal with Gel Blips

A brief foray out for our favourite breakfast, but hopes of spending time outdoors dashed by biting winds and a dead battery on my new J1, which I haven't yet got round to getting a spare for.

So instead spend some time indoors, playing around with my new gel filters which I got as a birthday present in Feb, but were as yet unopened. Lots of fun, though I am wondering what the advantage is of using the filters over my flash speedlight during shoots, as opposed to adjusting colour during edit? Some research required - or some clever Blippers to enlighten me!
