Bathing Belle

Today (and also tomorrow) the local society I’m a member of was treated to a garden party at the house of sculptor Philip Jackson, who lives just outside town and is our new president. I’m a huge fan of his work so it was very exciting. The garden is beautiful and there are no less than 27 of his sculptures dotted around it. He also gave us a tour of his studio and saw the preparatory works for some of his most famous sculptures including Gandhi, Bobby Moore, and Prince Philip, to name but a few. Anyway, top day all round and what a lovely chap: so talented but incredibly modest and generous.
