The superyacht Sherpa was refuelling in Oban this morning. She was built in 2018, is 74m long, carries 22 crew, and can take up to 11 guests. She is owned by billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, chair and CEO of Ineos, and one of the very wealthiest people in the UK. This is his "other" yacht - he owns another, slightly bigger one.

The level of inequality which our capitalist system has generated disgusts me. This yacht cost about $100,000,000 to build. Imagine what else could have been done with that money.
