As I waved off a pair of departing guests later on that morning, I was astonished to find myself fighting back the tears. "Pull yourself together Smithy", for crying out loud. But there's no shame, I think, in admitting that I'll be sorry to finish the job ~ toilet cleaning aside, it's been a real interesting journey.

With back2back bookings and such a huge repertoire of differing guests; from wanker bankers, to fluffy stags, to cutesy families, to bolshy boozy Aussies, from appalling old pervs, to gentle doctors, to the three old gits, to the cozy kids that I cuddled by the fire all over Christmas, from the beautiful corporates to the boring ones, from the outrageously grotesque corporates, to the sweet ones; my people observation station enjoyment has been firmly and fully met; boxes well and truly ticked ....
