Camasunary

There are many beautiful places on Skye but if I had to choose one favourite then Camasunary would probably be it. You have a walk of a couple of miles in, along a track and then up a hill before this wonderful vista opens up before you. We met no one on the way in and it was only when we reached the small climbers bothy down by the bay that we met a canoeist sitting enjoying the view!

On the way back out we met a couple more walkers/climbers heading in.

Bitterly cold day but beautiful sunshine.
