Thaw, freeze, thaw!

These icicles on the side of the greenhouse are dripping but it has been bitterly cold with the wind today.

Yesterday whilst still snowing it seemed very wet, as if it would thaw quite quickly, but the temperatures overnight ensured that everything froze making the road up to church rather treacherous this morning.

It is Palm Sunday and I rather liked these daffodils 'swaying' in the snow in the church garden but decided the ice gave a better picture of today.

If you look carefully through the window you can make out Chris's bare Fuchsias waiting for some warmth to break into leaf.
