Potatoes for Christmas

This is something I have never tried and I am not sure if the Scottish climate will allow it.
I recently bought three new  Blueberry bushes and as a bonus I was sent some free seed potatoes - so for the first time I planted potatoes in August.

They are certainly growing much faster than the ones I planted in Spring which were harvested recently and are almost all eaten.

Just need to hope we don’t get an early frost !
