A sweet little cankered pocked calf . In fact most of the herd were covered in these lesions . My bull calf dairy herd knowledge is zero but the nurse in me doesn’t like the look of it at all , doesn’t seem to bother them thankfully . They were up near the eco village farm, feeding in the rose hips in the hedgerow and were very gentle and inquisitive . I didn’t think male dairy calfs saw a green field these days, thought they were totally unwanted in the current system .
Have a mumma niggling off and on all day…. We’re both ladies in waiting .
