Sarlat le Caneda

we drove through the Dordogne today , as a break from the motorways on our way down to the Pyrenees Orientale region.  Decided to stop off in 'Bruno country' as we've read most of the Martin Walker books which heavily feature the area around Sarlat.   We had a wander around the lovely old streets of Sarlat le Caneda photographing down the back alleys. This woman caught my eye as her bag and dress matched the colouring of the nearby sign. Arrived at our house in the early hours of the morning having been diverted off the motorway around Toulouse for roadworks.   Great to be back here though and the house is relatively unscathed having been abandoned over the last two years.
