Aubeterre

Our first full day back in France and an opportunity to get back on the bikes. We'd done some local cycling in India but nothing serious and on very basic bikes. Cycling to Aubeterre, a 40kms round trip was a bit of a test therefore for a first ride. There is a 6km climb at the end which is a bit of a killer. Anyway we did it and feel OK and got back just ahead of the dark rain clouds. It is so quiet and deserted on the roads. A real treat.
