Beacon

The tides were right so we packed a picnic and, mid-morning, set off for Lindisfarne. A lovely, warm day for a walk round the island. First on to St Cuthbert's Island, which is attached to Lindisfarne at low tide, then along the trail to the navigational beacon at Emmanuel Head. Back to the van through the meadows.

Home for a roast dinner, a rare treat these days!
