Mighty No More!

Year 2 Day 175 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 279 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

Early this morning the old oak opposite our house of which we had a good view from our living room had a visit from the Tree Surgeon. The main photo' shows it after a few branches had been trimmed off and the extra is just before it was felled into the rear field. Sad to see it go as it was lovely to look at. It didn't have a Tree Protection Order but was half dead and the Planning Department deemed it had to go for safety reasons but replaced by another Oak.

We had granddaughter Amelia overnight and she and Mrs BB cut some flowers from our garden to give to her mum. The extra is of her showing them off just before she left for school.

We're visiting friends this evening to enable me to use a voucher for Tiny Rebel Brewing Company that was a Christmas present from 2019 but I haven't been abe to use because of the lockdowns!
